With a Distribution Center in Cascavel, the company has invested in new units to facilitate farmers’ access to the company’s parts and services

São Paulo, February 1, 2024 – Kepler Weber will participate in the 36th edition of Coopavel Rural Show, a fair held in Cascavel, Paraná, between February 5 and 9. The company will introduce farmers and companies in the sector to solutions to make post-harvest more efficient and profitable.

“Paraná is a reference in agricultural production, the birthplace of large cooperatives in the sector and Kepler Weber has been part of farmers’ successful trajectory in the State,” says Bernardo Nogueira, chief commercial officer at Kepler Weber. “Given the leaps in agribusiness production in recent years, grain storage, which was already necessary, has become critical, compromising post-harvest efficiency.”

Currently, the grain storage deficit in Brazil exceeds 100 million tons. Leader in Latin America in post-harvest solutions, Kepler Weber has invested in a ‘new crop of implements’, focusing on operational efficiency and sustainability.

In 2023 alone, the company carried out works in almost 300 Brazilian municipalities.

“More than half of the equipment items leaving Kepler Weber’s factories today already boasts embedded technology, allowing remote monitoring and operation,” highlights Nogueira.

To accelerate the digitalization of the 17 thousand units already existing in Brazil, the company purchased Procer, the leader in the segment in Latin America.

“Today, around 1,500 units are connected in Brazil and our goal is to increase the country’s installed capacity by half in the coming years.”

To facilitate customer access to Kepler Weber equipment and services, the company has expanded its network of Distribution Centers, such as the one currently operating in Cascavel (PR). The most recent one announced by Kepler Weber will be located in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, in the interior of Bahia. The other units are in Panambi (RS), Campo Grande (MS), Rio Verde (GO), Cuiabá and Sorriso (MT), Balsas (MA) and Paragominas (PA).

“These units allow us to monitor each of our storage units more closely, making updates and ensuring safer operations, with technology and staff training.”
