Kepler Weber evaluates Plano Safra as positive

Kepler Weber’s CFO, Paulo Polezi, evaluated the 2023/24 Harvest Plan, announced yesterday by the federal government, as positive. “We received the conditions of the 2023/24 Harvest Plan very well, where the interest rate and term variables remained attractive, combined with a higher volume of resources compared to the previous Harvest Plan. The value announced for the PCA line is an important stimulus to expand the country’s static capacity,” he wrote in a statement.
“Today, Brazil has an estimated storage deficit of over 100 million tons, which compromises field efficiency and represents a risk to the country’s food security. We are prepared to meet this demand from farmers and deliver new grain processing and storage units for the upcoming harvests,” he concluded.
