The company reached a milestone of 306 projects running simultaneously, with Rio Grande do Sul accounting for more than a third of the works.

São Paulo, January 8, 2025 – Kepler Weber (KEPL3) closed 2024 with 306 simultaneous projects underway, a historic record for the company, which is the leader in Latin America in post-harvest solutions for grain storage, bulk handling at ports, and digital thermometry. This result was driven by the launch of new products, such as the KW Max, a modular grain dryer with embedded technology, and the KW Biocav, a chip feeder that adapts wood-fired furnaces to operate with chip burning alongside the grain dryer.

“To ensure deliveries to our customers, our project implementation and digital services team maintains crews in all Brazilian agricultural regions, taking care to ensure the premium quality for which Kepler is known,” says Diego Wenningkamp, Director of Project Implementation and Digital Services at Kepler Weber.

The storage deficit in Brazil is estimated to reach 123.3 million tons in 2025. According to Kepler Weber, the southern region of the country is expected to face a deficit of 21 million tons.

According to the company’s data, Rio Grande do Sul concentrated the largest volume of projects throughout 2024, accounting for more than a third of the simultaneous projects in progress.

“The resilience of the agribusiness sector in Rio Grande do Sul, despite the flood that hit most of the state, is a source of pride and motivates us to continue creating solutions for greater efficiency on farms,” highlights Jean Felizardo de Oliveira, Commercial Director at Kepler Weber.

In addition to new units and products, the company, which operates nine distribution centers in the country, has also been working to update existing storage units. Projects range from regulatory compliance to the implementation of digital services through Procer.

“The recent history of agribusiness confirms that farmers are very competent in managing the land and production. The current urgency is for more efficiency in post-harvest, with smart and innovative solutions to avoid losses and negative premiums in grain exports, which cost over R$ 40 billion in two years,” concludes Oliveira.
