Risk and maturity assessment process

Kepler Weber’s ESG strategy is aligned with its growth strategy and reflects an ongoing commitment to maturity and consistency in its actions. In 2022, the Company conducted an ESG Risk and Maturity Assessment Diagnosis, identifying the need to improve practices and controls to meet regulatory and market requirements. As part of this effort, in 2023, the People, Compliance, and Sustainability Committee was created, together with an ESG Commission involving several areas of the Company. These initiatives aim to define projects and implement actions based on a short-, medium-, and long-term prioritization plan, with oversight from senior leadership and the CEO. In the second half of the year, the Company reassessed its Materiality process to improve the management of ESG issues. This process involved four stages and included the participation of more than 600 stakeholders, including the community, associations, unions, customers, employees, suppliers, press professionals, financial institutions and/or insurers, senior management, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.

6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Six SDGs and eleven targets were defined and now form part of the 2030 Agenda and the action plan to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that people achieve peace and prosperity. In this way, prioritizing SDGs aligns companies with a global agenda, facilitates an innovation environment, and increases transparency and better communication of the impacts generated by their activities. Kepler Weber’s adherence to the United Nations (UN) Global Compact was formalized through signature in early 2024:

Social Initiatives

At Kepler Weber, generating value goes beyond business. Our purpose translates into concrete actions that strengthen communities, expand opportunities, and promote lasting social transformation.

Through structured investments and local partnerships, we work to build a more inclusive, sustainable, and humane future.

Investments are made through incentivized mechanisms, such as the Culture Incentive Law, the Child and Adolescent Fund, the Sports Law, the Elderly Fund, and PRONON. We operate primarily in the regions where we are present, strengthening local ties and promoting long-term impact.

We continue to expand our positive impact: the annual allocation to new social projects reinforces our commitment to the continuity of initiatives and to creating sustainable value for society.

Because caring for life and CONNECTING GENERATIONS is an essential part of who we are.
